The Collective isn’t a company or legal entity; it’s simply a group of independent photographers, each running their own business. Once you’ve found the photographer that feels like the right fit, all communication happens directly between you and them. From there, any agreements or contracts are made privately between you and your chosen photographer.

Our wedding photography package prices vary based on several factors, including the season of your wedding, travel distance, whether accommodation is required, and whether your chosen package includes prints. The price differences between our photographers are minimal, so we encourage you to select the one whose style, personality, and artistic vision resonate most with you.

Photography is one of the most important investments you can make for your wedding. The day passes by quickly, but going with a photographer who you vibe with, and whose work you love, you’ll be able to relive the moments you cherish for years to come.

Most of our couples invest between 3000€ and 5000€ in their wedding photography.

We’re based in Helsinki, and while most of our weddings take place in southern Finland, we thoroughly enjoy traveling and exploring new places. We have extensive experience shooting destination weddings around Europe and we’d love to go the extra mile and even travel beyond to make your wedding photography dreams come true. We’d love to hear more about your story!

We guide you through the entire process, from the initial planning phase to the final delivery of your photos, every step of the way. As soon as you book with us, we’ll send you a wedding guide to support your wedding planning, with a special focus on photography.

We would also love to meet with you in person or via video call already before booking to exchange ideas and to get to know each other better. We’ll have another meeting closer to the wedding to go through the wedding day’s schedule and create a detailed plan for the photography. From the moment you first reach out to us until your wedding day, you’re always welcome to ask us anything, but we also have a structured approach to cover the key things you should consider.

We love to work with talented wedding planners! Especially if you’re celebrating your wedding abroad, we highly recommend hiring a wedding planner as it can be quite demanding to plan everything from a distance. Wedding planners ensure that everything from booking the right vendors to following local regulations and timing the day perfectly according to daylight or traffic hours will go smoothly, and you can relax and enjoy your wedding day as the VIP guest of your celebration. 

Yes, we always create a contract to ensure clarity and peace of mind for everyone involved. A written agreement protects both parties and makes it easy to review what’s been agreed upon. All you need to do is review, approve, and sign. Your booking is confirmed once the contract is signed and the deposit is paid.

In the extremely rare and unfortunate event that one of us becomes unable to photograph your wedding, you’re still in good hands. That’s the strength of being a collective of professionals – we’ve got each other’s backs and are ready to step in when possible.

We’re also part of a wider network of trusted wedding photographers, both in Finland and around Europe, who are quick to help, even on short notice. The subject is covered more thoroughly in the contract.

The number of photos you receive depends on several factors, including the length of coverage, the flow of events, the number of guests, and lighting or weather conditions. Every image we deliver must meet our high standards before it is selected for the final gallery. On average, we provide around 400 to 600 carefully edited photos for an 8-hour wedding day.

We always strive to deliver the photos as soon as possible, but we also never rush at the expense of quality. Final images are delivered within 8 weeks of the wedding. For shorter sessions or off-season weddings, delivery is often faster. That said, you'll receive a small preview of your photos within just a couple of days of your wedding.

All images are delivered through an online gallery that’s easy to curate further and share with your guests.

For documenting weddings that last over 6 hours, we require a meal to focus on the photography fully. Your chosen photographer will provide their dietary restrictions. We also recommend reserving an easily accessible seat for us – ideally one with the guests or one with a view of the main dining area – so that we can stay aware of what’s happening and be ready to capture any unexpected moments or surprise events.

Yes! Pyry from our collective also creates beautiful wedding films, which you can watch           Whenever possible, we love working together as a team – this way, we can offer you a seamless experience with both photography and video from one trusted source.

We also collaborate with other talented videographers across Europe and are looking to expand our collective of videographers in the future.

We most certainly do! While the purpose of the Collective centers around weddings, each creative lists the different types of shoots they offer on their own portfolio page, making it easy for you to explore what’s available. From babies to business events to branding, we'd love to be there to capture it for you!
