Kaamos Collective is a Finnish community of professional wedding photographers, united by a shared passion for creativity, quality, collaboration and timeless imagery. By working together, we strive to continually refine our craft and consistently deliver the finest service to our wedding couples.
The collective was founded in 2025 by four experienced photographers: Pyry Kantonen, Camilla Bloom, Susanna Nordvall, and Heidi Kouvo, each with their personal style that has been recognised worldwide. Through careful curation, the collective will grow slowly, ensuring that every member fulfils our clients’ high standards for great photography and service.
The Finnish language word 'kaamos' refers to the time of the polar night when the sun never rises – a quiet counterpart to the summer’s endless midnight sun. The name highlights our Nordic roots and reflects our ability to adapt to the ever-changing light conditions.

With over 10 years of experience in the wedding industry, each of us excels at reading the room, including space, light and moments, as well as the people with whom we work. We’ve developed sensitivity to work with our couples in a way that builds mutual trust and openness. This enables us to capture moments and emotions most authentically.
Our work goes far beyond simply documenting your wedding day. Drawing from years of experience, we share insights, offer recommendations, and guide you through the details so your day feels effortless, intentional, and perfectly you.

While each of our members runs their own business and operates independently, we collaborate as a collective to grow, learn and support one another, reaching new heights, both creatively and professionally.

To ensure the wedding day comes together beautifully, we believe it’s important for the vendors to collaborate and be on the same page. We embrace and continuously aim to strengthen open and transparent communication with fellow vendors like planners, venues, designers and florists, etc. As cliché as it sounds, teamwork makes the dream work.
Kaamos Collective is closely connected to a wider community of supportive and skilled Finnish wedding photographers. As a collective, we also aim to uplift Finnish wedding photography across Europe and beyond.
